Stress
Our bodies respond to stress in different ways. And when you have too much stress your body can begin to show it in negative ways. Some people can even have strokes or heart attacks as a result of stress causing their blood pressure to go too high. Yes, stress has been called the silent killer.
Stress is a killer. There are two kinds of stress; good and bad. You may not realize it, but everything you do has some type of stress associated with it. The problem comes when you have to much stress in your life.
One of the worse things you can do to cause bad stress is “Worry.” Are you a worrier? Do you become anxious over things? If you’re not sure, take time and ask someone that cares about you if you are a worrier. If you are, then you increase your chances of having a stroke or heart attack. If not something that severe, I assure you that the stress will show up in other ways like headaches, joint aches, stomach problems, and many other things.
Jesus tells us not to worry about our lives in Matthew 6:25. He tells us that God will take care of us. So take time today to “destress.” You can do that by spending some quality time alone with our Lord. Make sure you have a quiet time where you can turn all your worries over to Him. Trust Him. He loves you and cares for you. In fact, He cares about everything that is happening right now in your life.
You may be worrying and stressing out over things that are not even going to happen. So tell yourself right now to “STOP WORRYING.” It’s not worth killing yourself over something that is probably not even going to come true.
God bless you until next time.
